Recently, Austin Handyman Pros had the pleasure of completing an engaging and satisfying LED Lights Installation project in Cedar Park. We are grateful to our client, Mr. Vikas, who took an active role in the planning process, ensuring the project came to life just as he had envisioned it.

The groundwork entailed locating the ceiling beams, which involved the removal of the ceiling fan and capturing images of the interior of the ceiling. This step proved crucial in gaining an understanding of where the beams were positioned and allowed us to effectively plan the wiring routes for each light.

After marking the beam positions, we cut each hole using an 8-inch hole saw. The holes prepared, we moved on to wiring, which was run through each hole and connected the six LED lights to an outlet box, directly tapping into the central power from the ceiling fan. We meticulously strategized our wiring so that the ceiling fan could operate independently on one switch, while the LED lights could be controlled by a separate dimmer switch for personalized lighting choices.

The final steps in our project included the replacement of the old ceiling fan with a new, sleek, black, three-blade model, and the installation of a dimmer switch to manage the LED lights’ brightness. Moreover, we also mounted a 65-inch TV, which served as the ideal finish for the space.
